John Terakedis, Co-Coordinator of the Employee Benefits Practice Area at SZD, concentrates his employee benefits practice in qualified retirement plans and nonqualified deferred compensation plans with regard to design, implementation, operation and termination, including advising clients with regard to fiduciary issues. He also focuses on the representation of closely-held businesses and estate and gift planning for high net worth business owners, executives and professionals. He is extensively involved in family succession and business transition planning, which is complemented by his employee benefits practice.
John is a frequent lecturer on pension and estate planning issues and has authored numerous professional outlines and articles. He is a past Adjunct Professor at Capital University in their Master of Laws in Taxation Program and has also served as a guest lecturer at The Ohio State University School of Law.
