Experience
- Representation of a developer with respect to a large complex downtown urban master development plan for office, residential, medical, entertainment and retail uses.
- Representation of an urban arts school in acquiring downtown Columbus real estate and subsequent development/ redevelopment of college campus over 25+ years.
- Representation of a developer with respect to a 27 acre shopping center from initial development planning, resolution of title issues, leasing, sale of outlots, negotiation of a reciprocal easement and operating agreement.
- Representation of numerous non-profit entities with respect to tax exempt land transactions.
- Served as bond and underwriting counsel with respect to State of Ohio bond issues.
- Representation of a developer with respect to the acquisition of 1,000,000 square feet of industrial property, including obtaining entitlements and governmental incentives for redevelopment thereof.
- Served as counsel to numerous national retail landlord and tenant entitles with regard to all retail real estate matters, including negotiation of leases in shopping centers throughout the United States.
- Representation of a municipal corporation with respect to the acquisition and leasing of an approximate 100 acre property to be redeveloped as a technology park.
- Representation of a municipal corporation with respect to a private public partnership for the redevelopment of property located within a historic district.
- Representation of a client which moved its corporate headquarters to a renovated LEED certified building in Washington D.C.
- Representation of a client with respect to the relocation of health care facilities.
